Bouquet of sunshine
Ahead of last week’s cold snap, I snipped a bunch of forsythia sage and ‘Little Grapes’ gomphrena for bouquets around the house. This one, in a yellow ceramic vase adorned with leaves and snails, turned out to be my favorite, bringing sunshine into the hall bath. Such a simple way to create a moment of delight.
For the decor-curious, that’s a print by Austin artist Christy Stallop on the wall. The wallpaper is a peel-and-stick Hygge & West pattern, Andanza, in a discontinued color.

Thoroughly enjoying your posts. The pictures never come through in your emails so I click on the title and it takes me to your post where I can see the gorgeous plants. It’s weird that the text comes through in your emails but not the pictures. Wonder if it’s me or if others have that issue too.
Audrey
Thanks for taking the extra step and going to my website to read my posts, Audrey! There is some obscure problem between my hosting service and my subscription service, and some subscribers who use Apple products (iPhones, iPads, etc.) can’t see the images in my emails. However, simply by clicking through to my blog from the email, you can see everything as intended. 🙂
Your photographs of the inside are as good as the outside photos you take. Peel and stick walllpaper?? I have never seen or used such. Is it easy to change?
