I’m writing for Better Homes & Gardens magazine about Texas garden

June 19, 2023

Who needs inspiration for making a garden that beats the heat? Um yeah, every Texas gardener — and every other hot-summer gardener too. You’ll find great design moves in Lorie and Michael Kinler’s Fort Worth garden, which I wrote about for Better Homes & Gardens magazine. My article “Under the Texan Sun” can be found in the July/August 2023 issue! I hope you’ll pick up a copy — or subscribe — and help keep this garden writer employed while enjoying all the home and garden inspiration in the issue. 🙂

If you’re looking for it on newsstands, here’s the cover.

To see more of Lorie and Michael’s beautiful, modern, Texas-tough garden designs, check out their website, Kinler Landscape Architecture. It’s drool-worthy.

Congratulations on having your article being published in this magazine!! I’m not surprised they wanted it. I love your posts and guess I’m one of the lucky ones with a PC and Android phone. No problems for me and I’ve shared them with friends and family lately as we enjoyed vicariously your tour of the National Parks!!
    Keep them coming!

I’ll be looking for the article Pam. I know I’ll love it. Currently I’m reading your book The Water-Saving Garden and I’m getting so many ideas. Lawn Gone was a favorite of mine too. Since I’ve retired I’ve taken up gardening. You are inspiring!
    P.S.
Say hello to Aunt June for me. I know she must be so proud of you. You go girl!
