My fall cleanup tips in Better Homes & Gardens

November 03, 2022

My fall garden cleanup tips are in the November issue of Better Homes & Gardens magazine, which should hit newsstands soon. I’m pleased that I was able to represent for warm-winter climates — hint: we keep gardening! — while also giving practical info for shutting-things-down gardeners in cold-winter climates. It sure isn’t a one-size-fits-all country, is it?

Wherever you are, I hope you’re enjoying either your second spring (yay, fall!) or the anticipation of a well-deserved winter rest for your gardening adventures.

And hey, if you’re curious to find my other published articles, go to Work With Me in the header menu and click on Writing. Or just click this link.

Congratulations Pam! I’ll look for the magazine.

  2. Wow, that’s exciting, Pam. Congrats! I’m sure it’s a great article. 🙂

  3. Douglas Owens-Pike says:

    Great news. Congratulations

  4. So pleased to see you recommending that folks “leave the leaves” and standing perennials like echinacea. BHG is an excellent place for the audience that most needs to hear that message!

I agree — spreading the word to help wildlife and hopefully encouraging people not to blow everything back to bare dirt.
