Wonderful, I could study this and think about it for hours.Such detail and those spikes on the agave love scary, but maybe not to your little anole. I assumed he’d found a good hiding place. But now I wonder if he was hunting in there. And I can tell you, those spines are sharp! —Pam
Great photo. We’ve all been in spots like that, haven’t we, where it looks like there is no good way out. I hope he made it out eventually. I’m sure he did. The anoles are incredible leapers. I’ve seen them jump from low branches of trees to the ground. —Pam
What a cute little guy, and what an amazing photo! I hope he’s able to escape unscathed. Thanks, Amy. It looks like a tight spot, but I’m sure he knew how to negotiate it. —Pam
This poor anole looks like he is holding on for dear life. What beautiful colors they are together. I am sure he feels protected there amongst the spines and spikes. I suspect so too. I have no doubt of his ability to extricate himself. —Pam
Great photos and captions. I hope he got out without getting hooked. I’ve never been able to reach into an agave and come out unscathed, no matter how careful. Maybe he knows the trick!
