Colleen at In the Garden Online has come up with the brilliant and fun idea of hosting a garden-blogger awards program. Dubbing it the Mouse & Trowel Awards, she’s calling for nominations in thirteen categories:

Garden blogger you’d most like to have as a neighbor
Garden Blog of the Year

Gardening Web Site of the Year

We all have our favorites, blogs we check every day or so, and bloggers we’ve developed relationships with. Now is our chance to show them some love. Colleen writes, “The top three blog/site nominees in each category will be the finalists. Finalists will be announced on Monday, April 15th. The final round of voting will determine the winner of each category. Voting for the final round will begin on April 15th and continue through Friday, May 11th. Winners will be announced on Sunday, May 13th.”
