Thankful for pink roses

‘Belinda’s Dream’
While preparing for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving Day feast, I took time to give thanks to my garden, just by being out in it for a few minutes and smelling the roses.
Ahh, pink roses. Thanks.
A bee is thankful for sweet ‘Belinda’s Dream’ as well.
‘Carefree Beauty,’ another fragrant, pink rose
Citizen Kane was thankful for Rosebud.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi Pam,
I was thinking of roses yesterday too when I was cleaning out my asparagus bed for winter. None of mine are blooming anymore, but I grow ‘Belinda’s Dream’ (love it,) ‘Carefree Beauty’ (a Griffith Buck rose and totally carefree,) ‘Fairy’ (lovely, and I think I’ve seen it on your website. I also have ‘Reines des Violettes,’ ‘Madame Isaac Pereire’ and the list goes on and on.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Yes, I do have ‘The Fairy,’ as well as ‘Valentine’ and ‘Marie Pavie.’ I dream of adding a few more, but I haven’t been able to sacrifice anything else to make room. —Pam
Thanks for sharing these pink beauties!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Love the ‘pink’ appetizer.
I swear I could almost smell them, too. Happy Thanksgiving
Carol, May Dreams Gardens
I’m with Carol! I can smell them over the cooking turkey! Enjoy your feast and family! Happy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful pink roses. Happy Thanksgiving, Pam.
Well my eyes are thankful for all these pink beauties. They were assaulted on another blog by orange, and tons of it. My eyes hate orange, so thanks for the soothing pink on your blog. 😉
Two ‘Champagne’ miniature roses are blooming here, and I like them very much right now.
Have you visited Soul of the Garden today? You’ll have to scroll through some fabulous orange Tithonia to see that Tom Spencer has a camellia growing in his garden, in one of those big, blue ceramic pots!

I haven’t seen Tom’s site recently, but I’ll look for the tithonia, which I always love, and the camellia. I’ll look for pics of your ‘Champagne’ soon too. —Pam
A rose named ‘Citizen Kane?’ That’s too perfect! (Or were you joking? If so, someone should give a rose that name.)
Oh, it was just a little joke, MMD. Wouldn’t that be a fun name for a rose though? —Pam
Oh, so beautiful! And lovely to see since ours are long gone for the season!
~Angela 🙂
That’s just pink perfection, isn’t it? Lovely! And you captured its beauty so well.
I hope you’ve had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Your roses are gorgeous – I love ‘Carefree Beauty’ and ‘Belinda’s Dream’. You are so right – I need to be coming to Southern blogs to appreciate some beauty and take away those grey-day feelings! Thank you…
Mmmmmmm, makes me want to add some roses to my rose garden. That Belinda’s Dream has looked so lovely in all of your posts. I need to look into it.
Happy (belated) Thanksgiving to you too – and I do love roses also. And how wonderful that so many of them are happy and blooming in late November!
