Look for me in Austin Woman and Consumer Reports magazines this month
When it rains, it pours. After the Southern Living publicity in February, a writer for Austin Woman contacted me for an interview about blogging and gardening in Austin.
I was happy to oblige, and now the issue with my interview is out. You can pick up a free copy at various locations around town; it’s the April 2015 issue, page 32. Or if you prefer to read online, you can find the article here. I’m delighted to be an Austin Woman!
In a magazine two-fer, I was also interviewed recently for a Consumer Reports article about making your landscaping, especially the lawn, more sustainable in light of concerns about chemical use, drought, and loss of wildlife habitat.
You’ll find the article on page 33, in the May 2015 issue.
My quote about lawn alternatives appears on page 34.
You can read the article online at ConsumerReports.org.
