Happy Friday! That’s pretty and a disappearing fountain is on my list now too.
I love the bubbling sound of water — just the thing to make it seem cooler on a hot day, and the birds enjoy bathing in it since this “pot” has a saucer “lid,” rather than being open on top. It gives the birds a place to sit while they’re bathing. —Pam
Gorgeous! I love all your beautiful ceramic pots. They really add a pop of color to the garden. Is there one particular place you shop for pots or do you just buy them at different places when they catch your eye?
Oh, I buy whenever and wherever, Steph. I got this fountain pot at Hill Country Water Gardens in Cedar Park. They have SO many beautiful pots to choose from. —Pam
Perfect!
Plumbago is at its finest on these hot late summer days. It pairs beautifully with that beautiful disappearing fountain.
Oh, that’s the perfect compliment! I just wish I could get my plumbago to take off. It’s one of those plants that everyone seems to be able to grow except for me.
Love those blues, Pam, stunning!
Don’t we need cooling blues and cooling water with this weather? Lovely. It is so difficult finding true blues for the garden.
Very nice backdrop – a little extra shadow depth makes the plumbago look so much darker than it normally is. I finally have one surviving in my garden – because it is hidden and I forget about it!
If I recall correctly, this plumbago was sold as a darker-blue variety, Diana. That’s one reason I bought it. The lighter blue has never appealed to me as much. —Pam
Gorgeous! My favorite shade of blue! Great example.
