Congratulations to MaryEllen Krautter for winning a signed copy of my book, Lawn Gone! Big thanks to everyone who took the time to enter my giveaway this week. MaryEllen, I’ll be in touch today via email.

For anyone in the Austin area still wanting an autographed copy of Lawn Gone!, I’ll be holding a book signing at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center on Sunday, July 28th, from 1 to 3 pm, in the gift shop. I hope you’ll come out and see me!

    Hi Pam,
    I picked up some discarded/recycled magazines at our local library. An entire cache of Ladybird Johnson, “Native Plants,” magazines for summer reading. Opening the second magazine I spied someone that looked just like you. It was you! (2004)- “Speaking English.” I should send it to you if you don’t have a copy.
    Your book is thoughtful and very helpful!
    We had three days of rain — DFW area. I hope you received some rain too.

    I DO have a copy of that old issue of Native Plants, Jeanette, but thanks for thinking of me! Man, that was a while ago. —Pam
