Let’s Fling in San Fran!Listen up, fellow garden bloggers! It’s time to register for the 6th annual Garden Bloggers Fling, to be held in San Francisco June 28-30. Registration is limited, so don’t delay. While details are still being finalized, rest assured that organizer Kelly Kilpatrick is putting together a great slate of private gardens, public gardens, and nurseries for us to visit. I can’t wait to reconnect with my garden blogging friends—and meet new ones!
Hi Pam: I was hoping to make it, but I’m not sure I can commit by Feb. 15. So, we’ll see. It would be great fun, so I hope I can attend. Thanks for all the work you and the group put into it. ~Beth
Hi, Beth. I just saw a FB update from the head planner for the S.F. Fling, Kelly Kilpatrick, which might be helpful to you. She wrote:
“Just want to clarify a couple of things about the registration. You do NOT have to register by Feb. 15th. Registration is ongoing, as long as there are spots available. The check due date of Feb. 15th is more of a request to get your registration fee sent in a timely manner. As a courtesy to other bloggers who may be waiting to register, we can hold your spot for a month while we wait for the registration check. So if you register Feb. 1st you would have until March 1st to get the check to us. Sorry for the confusion, I will update that on the registration form. And of course, no one will be bumped from their spot without us checking in with you first!”
Good to know, Pam. Thanks for checking on that. I love San Francisco! And I really want to attend the Fling!
