Why am I smiling?

Why am I smiling?

Because tomorrow I’m visiting Peckerwood Garden with a bunch of the Austin garden bloggers. Road trip!!

And doesn’t the name “Peckerwood” just make you grin?
Look for pics from the incredible Peckerwood Garden this weekend—on 10 or so Austin garden blogs.

It really does Pam! Wish we were all going with you but the next best thing is 10 or so posts from the Austin Garden Bloggers! Gail
I wish you were coming along too, Gail. But maybe the upcoming posts will help you to feel as if you were there. —Pam

Hi Pam, Oh you all are so lucky! I have been twice and it is just astounding. Talk about photo ops and with a group of you we will get to see it through many eyes, er lenses. I love that first face, it even looks like you! And the skeletal potter? is wonderful. Love it.
    Frances
I have never been, and I’m really looking forward to our visit. Yes, the skeletal potter is my sole Day of the Dead item—a Mexican tile that sits on my potting bench. —Pam

Since I can’t go, the next best thing is to read all about it in various blogs–I am looking forward to that!
I’m sorry you couldn’t join us this time, Jenny. Maybe next time. —Pam

  6. We need for someone to do a study to figure out why there are so many garden bloggers in Austin! And someone should notify the staff at Peckerwood that a rowdy crowd of gardeners is heading their way.
Wish I could be there, too. Maybe someone can also shoot some video and give us some live action?
The staff knows, Carol. Diana has arranged a private guided tour for our group. Yippee! I wish you could join us. Maybe someone will have video capability and know how to upload it, but it won’t be me. —Pam

A road trip sounds terrific. A garden with a name like that leaves a lot to the imagination. I expect it will be something else altogether. I can’t wait to see.
